Purely for PvE? Balder side sword is not a PvE weapon, except for roleplaying. Anyway, with faith you will get 2 different buffs and WoTG, with int you will get only CMW but dark beads will make a good job with some bosses. I use it as my main weapon in pve and pvp.

It’s one of the better Masterwork Perks in the game, and it’s extremely satisfying to give the gun a knock on the side to quick-switch fire modes (Bungie, take notes–this is way better than requiring a whole reload animation!). Focused Fire basically turns Cerberus into a primary ammo shotgun.
